Below is a list of just some of the administration features available. We have listed only the main features, however there are many more features available.
(a) Featured products display:
- Add/Delete featured products.
- Turn on/off the display for featured products on the home page.
- Select the number of featured products to display on the home page.
- Select from 7 different featured products layouts for the home page.
(b)Items on Sale:
- Add/Delete sale items.
- Turn on/off the display for sale items on the home page.
- Select the number of sale items to display on the home page.
- Select from 7 different sale items layouts for the home page.
(c) Set your own price ranges for the search by price function: e.g. Under R100. from R100 - R300 etc...
- Turn on/off multiple currency display.
- Select the currency in which to sell your goods. Currently the cart supports - Rand, US Dollar and Euro.
(e) Page Generator:
- Create pages on the fly: This feature allows you to create additional information pages such as Return policy, Shipping policy etc... The links to these pages are then automatically generated and placed on the store pages.
(a)Categories: You can add unlimited product categories and sub-categories in which to place your products.
(b) Add a Product Description, Images and Price: You only need to upload a single large image for each product, and the thumbnail (small) images will be created automatically. You can add, delete or change the product description, price etc... anytime through the store admin panel. You can also add product model and stock codes.
(c) Custom Fields: Add custom fields for products. e.g. pieces per box, size etc... These fields will then be displayed below the product on separate lines. If the custom field is left blank for a particular product then it will not display.
(d) Product Options: You can add product options per product. e.g. If you sell t-shirts in various sizes and colours, then you can add a size selector drop down and a colour selector drop down. (e) Sale Items: You can select items to place on sale. These items will then be displayed with the original price and the sale price. You can select to display a certain number of sale items on the front page of your store, as well as devote an entire page to all sale items.
(f) Featured Items: You can select items to be featured items. You can select to display a certain number of featured items on the front page of your store as well as devote an entire page to all featured items.
(g) Related Items: Through the admin panel, you can add related items to individual products. When a customer clicks on a product, the related items will display below the main item. (i) Taxes: Set product prices and shipping costs to taxable or exempt.
Selection of payment method is done in the administration panel of your store. You can select one payment method or multiple payment methods. If you select multiple payment methods, these will be displayed to the customer upon checkout. The customer can then select their preferred payment method. The following are the available payment options:
(a) Online Credit card Payment: Your customers can pay online at the time of checkout using their credit card. You can accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. In order to use this feature, it is necessary to sign up with one of the available online credit card gateways. Currently the cart is configured to use two S.A based online processors; MyGate.co.za and Setcom.com. Both these payment gateways offer local and international currencies. Signing up is simple and free. We also offer various international payment gateways.
(b) Check/Money Order: The customer can complete their purchase online and then make payment by check or money order.
(c) Bank Transfer: The customer can complete their purchase online and then make payment by bank transfer.
All shiping cost calculations are automatically calculated on checkout and
added to the order total. Selection of shipping method is done in the administration
panel of your store. You can select one shipping method or multiple shipping
methods. If you select multiple shipping methods; all selected shipping methods
will be calculated separately and displayed to the customer upon checkout.
The customer can then select their preferred shipping method based upon time
to deliver and delivery cost. Click

Clients are automatically updated, via email, once their order has shipped. Add tracking numbers to all orders for easy tracking and automatically all shipping information to customer with the click of a button.
The following are the available shipping option:
(a) Flat Rate Shipping: This is a flat shipping rate per order. e.g. R40.00 per order
(b) Free Shipping: You can offer free shipping based upon a minimum order amount. e.g. Free shipping on all order over R250.00
(c) SA Postal Service large parcel rates for international shipping: This option is for shipping of goods internationally using SA Postal Services. Upon checkout the customer enters their delivery address. If this address is a foreign country, this will be the rate table that is used to calculate the shipping cost. Note that this rate table must be updated through the store administration panel should there be a change in the SA Postal Service rates.
(d) SA Postal Service Ordinary Parcel Rate: This is the standard SA Post table rate; based on weight and destination. Note that this rate table must be updated through the store administration panel should there be a change in the SA Postal Service rates.
(e) SA Speed Services Counter to Counter: This is the standard Speed Services table rate for Counter to Counter service; based on weight and destination. Note that this rate table must be updated through the store administration panel should there be a change in the SA Postal Service rates.
(f) SA Speed Services Counter to Door: This is the standard Speed Services table rate for Counter to Door service; based on weight and destination. Note that this rate table must be updated through the store administration panel should there be a change in the SA Postal Service rates.
(g) Table Method: This method must be configured through the store admin panel and can be used for private carriers such as DHL.
(h) Per Item Shipping: This is a flat rate charged per item. e.g. Flat rate per item = R40.00. If customer orders two products then total shipping cost will be 2 x R40 = R80.00
